Services Offered
We Care Ministries is providing services to many who are in need because they can longer attend worship services in their community. Others are not connected with an established church, or their church is unable to provide full ministry to them. The wide range of past services dedicated to meeting the spiritual and emotional needs of the elderly, the infirm, and their caregivers are:
- Pastoral Care - one on one visits with care recipients, staff, and family; providing evangelism, prayer and bereavement support when needed.
- Bible Time - studies that meet the unique needs of the elderly and others associated with care facilities.
- In-service Education - available to educate and counsel staff and family members on spiritual matters.
- Family Worship - church services conducted for care recipients, staff, and their families.
- Prayer & Share - fellowship time with care recipients that encourage and strengthen them in their faith.
- Church Link - equipping the local church to minister Christ’s love in their community care center.
- Adopt-a-Family - matches care recipients without family with Christian individuals or families for encouragement.
- Pastoral Training - approved field site for some seminary students to train in ministry to the elderly, the handicapped, and the needy.
